Purpose Disruptors Ireland

OUR IRISH CHAPTER SUPPORTS THE PURPOSE DISRUPTORS MISSION WITH AN ACTIVE COMMUNITY….

Established in 2020, Purpose Disruptors Ireland was started by individuals from competing agencies bound by a common goal - to meaningfully mobilise the industry’s climate transition. We host regular events and gatherings with a fast-growing community of over 400 individuals, supporting connection and action across the Irish creative communications network.

Team

The Irish chapter of Purpose Disruptors was co-founded by core team members Laura Costello, Colette Henry, Eimear Fitzmaurice and Thomas Geoghegan. We are full-time senior agency employees, working in Irish-based creative agencies and media agencies. Our community is growing daily and we are very grateful for a huge number of people’s ongoing commitment to making this work flourish.

What kind of leadership does the world need right now?  The need for the creative communications industry to adopt a leadership role in the context of climate and sustainability was revealed in our Great Reset work last year. We found that 90% of the population think it is the advertising and creative (communications) industry's responsibility to encourage more sustainable behaviours, like during lockdown.

Over 50 members of the marketing, advertising, PR & communications industry in Ireland got together in March, to learn more about what it means to be a sustainability leader today. Read more here.
